The Institute for Social and Environmental Research, Nepal (ISER-N) is seeking a highly motivated and qualified recent Ph.D. graduate in public health or a social science discipline with strong quantitative skills for a full-time postdoctoral position. ISER-N is a research and development institute, based in Chitwan, dedicated to turning knowledge into practice to improve human lives and environmental conditions. ISER-N’s impetus lies in evidence-based decision-making processes that build upon high-quality scientific research to promote informed policy decisions and identify effective sustainable development initiatives. ISER-N research programs are both creative and collaborative embracing longitudinal and multilevel research designs with mixed-method measurements (for more information, please visit www.isernepal.org.np). The successful applicant will participate in an NIA-funded study on International labor migration, armed conflict, and dementia risk in the Chitwan District of Nepal. The selected Fellow will also work closely with researchers in Nepal as well as from the University of Michigan, Georgetown University, and other affiliated institutions.
