Education and Empowerment
Empowering Humans

The education and empowerment program aims at understanding existing educational inequalities and promoting knowledge and skills for a better understanding of sustainable development priorities. While educational research programs are designed to examine the role education has on population processes and the environment, the educational development program is designed to empower marginalized and underprivileged groups such as poor women, children and ethnic minorities. These programs include child and adult literacy programs, after-school educational programs, literacy campaigns, cross-cultural visits, seminars, workshops, and short- and long-term academic trainings. These programs also make learning and sharing provisions for on-site research experiences for national and international scholars and students.
